TRAINING

Height Safety level 2

Duration and focus:

The objective of this one (1) day course is to provide attendees a complete picture on how to  successfully use personal protective equipment against falls in a variety of environments and scenarios.

After training, students will be able to identify the hazards associated to work at height, meet the relevant key legislation, understand the various categories of personal protective equipment against falling, including its features and limitations.

They will be able to perform a simple pre - use inspection of the devices and understand the need for record keeping, traceability and what to do with equipment that is not in a safe condition for use. Upon successful completion of the course, attendees will have the theoretical and practical skills necessary to use a wide range of fall arrest, work positioning and restraint equipment.

A key element of this course is practical application. During the exercises, candidates will perform manoeuvres in various scenarios using climbing techniques, temporary safety systems , installed, and structural anchors . The training also includes rescue practices applicable to certain scenarios.
