Inspector Personal Protective equipment

 

Duration and focus:

People who attend this course of one (1) day will be provided with the information and knowledge necessary to perform a corporal or inspection of fall protection equipment effectively.

The training covers legislation , regulations, obligations and responsibilities, marking and documentation of equipment,  maintenance and documentation, traceability, types of inspections, storage requirements and removing any personal protective equipment that is not suitable for use. It involves extensive practical inspection of a wide variety of equipment made of textile and/or metal.

At the end of the course , candidates will implement a program of periodic inspections for personal protective equipment used for work at height, such as harnesses, ropes, anchor slings, carabiners, helmets, ropes, etc.

 

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience in the use of fall protection equipment and in its revision. Have the aptitude for a detailed inspection . Know the operation of equipment and wear derived from use in different scenarios and conditions of use.

Certification:

The student who passes the course receive a certificate which is valid for one (1) year.
